We have often heard that if you fail to plan then you plan to fail.Yet life keeps throwing up examples of people getting lucky or even just getting by without even having to worry about the basic savings.

Sometimes, people wish they were either in the upper echelons of the society so that they could happily live off their parents income or family income for the rest of their lives. They do so too without an iota of embarrassment.

Or sometimes, they wish they were at the lowest levels of the society. That  they dont have to worry about any future plans or riches.Just live by the day and die by the day.Who cares or will care ? Which any ways is the case in the upper echleons. We will never know how many real tears are shed for the departed -and not for the balance he has in his bank.?

While some would argue about having self-esteem was more credible or even better self-made man would rank highest in terms of respect. In the process of being self-made time takes a toll on the mind body and soul. Each gets irritable and or in some cases beyond repair. Most of the self-made people arise out of hurt, betrayal or some massive trauma – which triggers them to take a diverse path.

There are some who just do it anyways but then thats a different story. These are the rare breeds – who in spite of having all the best in the world – go on to chose a life of challenges and overcome them one at a time.

But in todays world, todays materialistic, capitalistic world – who cares? If you have got it – show it, if you have got it – live it.

So that leaves us poor mortals to plan , plan and plan more.Plan till the last detail and in the process life just goes by.Yes some of us who have planned well will go on to laugh their ways into the banks and get the bragging rights to say “I told you so” but there will be some who will just be the way they are..simple uncomplicated, unplanned. They will regret their decision only up to a point – beyond that they turn a blind eye and perhaps move on.

So what if you did not get to drive the BMW or merc at the end of it all ? So what, if you did drive a BMW or a merc? Then what? So what, if you did not get to buy the multi-million dollar villa on top of the hill? So what if you did?

The rat race never ends – some even call it ambition

I am not really sure about your final conclusions here, but I feel a mix of planning and living impulsively is the better receipe for a enjoyable life 🙂

There are no conclusions in the first place – this is an ongoing fight to find the right balance – there is no formula to strike the right balance hence we keep dabbling to and fro.

Human beings have a way of twisting things in their favour (for the sole purpose of boosting ego) and so they came up with the concept of ‘end’. In the end nothing matters. A nice way to equalise and end all discussions. But i have observed that man consciously or subconsciously works towards making one’s life easier. Hence the fire, the wheel, electricity, internet etc. The existence of the tendency to make life easier and better speaks volumes. So does it really – doesn’t matterin the end? Why shouldn’t we care, after all we are programmed to care

If you learn theart of indifference, you will see that there is little that bothers you beyond a point. It is also known as a low need for approval. What it means is praise or criticism, glory or failure, love or hate, joy or pain – only affect you i a limited manner such that their influence does not change the course of your life.
If one can attain that state of mind – state of thought compartmentalization, then in all probability chances are that you will lead a life by design and not by default.
