Proximity Sensor

April 19, 2012 Leave a comment

Once a good friend always a good friend? Most of us have had great friends in the past, and we often drift into nostalgia about how good were those days.

Most of us have lost that good friend somewhere in the pages of history.

We have moved on for better or worse, but those memories stay locked somewhere all our lives.

So this post is about preserving a relationship -in this case  a good friendship.

License to Arrogance

Picture that moment when that school bully pushed you down, or that college stud who whisked away your girl, or that irate boss who gave you a mouthful in front of your colleagues, or that junior who showed attitude and walked away…the moments are endless right through our lives., but those moments where you could give it right back at the right time with the maximum impact comes either to only those with the gift of the gab or extremely lucky people. For the rest of the mere mortals, they grudge, grumble, and mumble and swallow it inside and move on.

So what stops you from giving it back? Consequences. Right?

So imagine a day when you could give it all back without having to worry about it. You were granted to the right to be arrogant.

What would you do ?

In reality, morning ….never shows the day!

So on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your happiness? How would you rate your sadness?

How would you rate your indifference? The funny thing connecting the dots here, is time. Each of these facets are

time bound. So what you see now could be a lot different tomorrow.

Read about your happiness quotient here.

When is the right time to exit a situation or an argument ? Ave you ever thought  about how long to stretch ? Besides how do you know

whether it is the right time to stop and make it a smart decision versus the biggest mistake.? What if continuity was the right option?

Life is  a paradox and we all get sucked in somewhere or the other. the idea is to keep it simple and keep moving mentally.Getting

stagnated in the mind never helps.

So read about what s the best time to get the hell out of here?

“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” ~Mahatma Gandhi

Who better to define, epitomise this quote other than Rahul Dravid.?

In the age of quick fixes & instant gratification,he is an oxymoron.

In times of loudness, noise and cacophony of wants,he is the epitome of subtlety.

In expressions of rage, outburst, gesture and posture, he is an image of resolve.

His contribution to Indian cricket, and the game of Cricket around the world is undoubted and yet understated.Just like he wants ,perhaps.

In my own small humble way, I’d like to dedicate a few lines to a hero of my generation Rahul Dravid.

Good Doc. Bad Doc.

March 9, 2012 1 comment

How many times have you squirmed when some one said” hey did you know he is a good doc?You should absolutely go to him?’ Or he or she is such a bad doctor – “I am never going back to him , and so should you.!”

People form perceptions about doctors without understanding an iota of the science or skill required behind it. My question is why?

You can read about it here.
